At 10:38 am of March 25, mail part of Hengxian Guangui annually produce 68,000 tons bleached bagasse pulp project went into full operation officially. Leaders of Hengxian Government and relevant departments, Chairman and Managing Director of Guangui, Yang Herong, with Company’s relevant leaders and staffs attended this start-working ceremony.

 

The total investment of new annually produce 68,000 tons bleached bagasse pulp technical transformation project of Hengxian Guangui is 298,200,000 yuan. The main work of it, with total project cost of more than 5000 million yuan and covered area of 25,000 square meters, is the most important part of the whole 68,000 tons bleached bagasse pulp technical transformation project Main plants include a pulping workshop, a table-paste workshop and an alkali recovery workshop. The civil work project will be completed in June 2009, equipment installation started in May 2009, test running conducted in pulping workshop in August 2009 and it is planned to be up and running in October 2009. After this technical transformation project is finished, productivity of Hengxian Guangui, Paper Branch company will be raised to annual produce 128,000 tons bleached bagasse pulp, 580 tons of recovered and processed alkali solid/day and it will be able to deal with production wastewater 62000m³/d. Mean annual sales income will reach 295.02 million yuan (including value-added tax ), mean annual total profit 68.57 million yuan and mean annual after-tax profit 51.43 million yuan. Also number of newly-added jobs will reach more than 1000. The technical transformation project, with significant economic and social benefits, will become new point of economic growth of Guangui Sugar Industry.
